Hoffman Center Offers Pencil and Charcoal Drawing

CharcoalFlyer2 copyThe Hoffman Center in Manzanita will host a Pencil and Charcoal Drawing Techniques Saturday, June 27. Class hours will be 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The workshop will be led by Wes Cropper, and is designed for students age 13 and up.

Tuition will be $50, with an additional $20 materials fee.

Students will learn how to draw objects in perspective and apply texture, lighting and shading to create complete composition. Students will take home their drawing kits and three finished pieces of art.

Newberg-based Cropper teaches drawing at ITT Technical Institute. His 30-plus year career as a professional artist includes traditional fine art and digital methodology.
