zentangle imageThe Hoffman Center for the Arts in Manzanita will host a one-day “Zentangles: The Basics” class Saturday, July 16, from 9 a.m. to noon.

The class will be led by Deb Thompson, a Certified Zentangle Instructor. She has taught the art form to groups and individuals in the Eugene area for several years. Tuition will be $40, which includes all supplies.

“The Zentangle Method is an easy-to-learn, relaxing, and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns. Almost anyone can use it to create beautiful images,” said Thompson. “It increases focus and creativity, provides artistic satisfaction along with an increased sense of personal wellbeing.”

Persons interested in taking the class can register for “Zentangles: The Basics” on-line here.

The class is open to students of all ages and experiences. The registration deadline is Wednesday, July 13.
