Human Anatomy Painting & Drawing Class Offered

Bjorn Lundeen will offer another painting class, this time showing the step-by-step process of accurately depicting human anatomy through drawing and painting.

Topics covered include — looking beneath the skin: human bone studies using a skeleton reference to understand body structure.  Muscle structure photo references, proportions, shading and skin tones.

Materials provided:  drawing surfaces, charcoal pencils, acrylic paints, water based oil paints, mediums, brushes, painting surfaces.

Bjorn is a representational impressionist artist with an extensive background in figure drawing, portraiture, and plein air painting.  He has worked as an assistant figure drawing teacher at Humboldt State University before graduating there with a BFA in 2006.

Class will be held for three Wednesdays, October 3, 10th, 17th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Tuition is $60 for three session, plus a $15 materials fee.
