The Hoffman Center for the Arts in Manzanita will host its seventh annual Community Talent Showcase in late January and has issued a call for local performers to audition.
Auditions are set for Wednesday, Jan. 27, from 5 to 8 p.m. This year’s talent showcase will include two events – Saturday night, Jan. 30, and a matinee on Sunday afternoon, Jan. 31.
“We’re looking for a variety of music, magic, comedy, singing, reading, actors, or whatever would entertain the audiences,” said Center board member Dave Dillon. “Acts need to be no more than five minutes long and suitable for all ages.”
The Center hopes to have 10-15 acts per show.
Showcase admission will be $10, and all proceeds will go to support the Center’s general operating fund. Registration form for performers available here.
Auditions for the Community Talent Showcase will be held February 25th from 5–7 pm. If you’d like to perform in this year’s Talent Showcase, you must come to the auditions first.
We’re looking for musicians, magicians, comedians, singers, actors, ventriloquists, or whatever kind of talent someone wants to show off.
The acts must be suitable for all ages and last no more than five minutes. First time performers will be given priority.
Please print and fill out the audition registration form.
The very popular Hoffman Center Community Talent Showcase will return next February, so now’s the time to start planning your act.
The show will be held the evening of Saturday, Feb. 28.
We’ll be looking for a variety of local performers – comedians, singers, magicians, musicians, actors, or whatever – 12 to 15 acts in all.
More information will be provided after the start of the new year, so stay tuned.
