The Hoffman Center for the Arts offers a variety of workshops as part of its programming. Join us for a writing workshop led by a published Northwest author or a visual arts workshop led by local or visiting artists. Most workshops are open to any skill level so we encourage you to try your hand at something new.
BE SURE to check below that the class isn’t already full. If it is, we will not be able to refund the entire amount. Scroll all the way down to see all the workshops on offer.

Please register early. Many of our workshop leaders come to Manzanita expressly to offer these opportunities and it’s important to know the level of interest in order to ensure the workshop will take place.

March 31 through April 2: PoetryFest, Carl Adamshick & Emily Kendal Frey, Fee for the weekend of workshops and an introductory networking evening on Friday is $165 through March 15 and $195 thereafter.

May 20: Research and Writing, Jonathan White, 1-3 p.m., $40 tuition

November 18, Mastering Murder, Ingrid Thoft, 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., $40 tuition
Visual Arts Workshops
Please pay only the class tuition via PayPal and pay any materials fee directly to the instructor in the class.
February 25: Beginning Stained Glass, Jo Newhouse, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., $40 tuition, includes all materials
March 15, 22, 29: Living the Sketchy Life, Renee Delight, 10 a.m. to noon, $60 for all three sessions, students can bring their own materials or $12 to the instructor to supply them.
