Register for Workshops

The Hoffman Center for the Arts offers a variety of workshops as part of its programming. Join us for a writing workshop led by a published Northwest author or a visual arts workshop led by local or visiting artists.  Most workshops are open to any skill level so we encourage you to try your hand at something new.

BE SURE to check below that the class isn’t already full.  If it is, we will not be able to refund the entire amount.  Scroll all the way down to see all the workshops on offer.

  3. Enter the workshop price in the “Item Price” field
  4. Click the Update link.
  5. Login into your PayPal account to complete the transaction.
  6. PayPal accepts credit card payments, even if you don’t have a PayPal account. Click on the “I don’t have a PayPal Account” link.

If you prefer to write a check, click here to download a workshop form, complete it (including the name of the workshop), and send it along with your check to the Hoffman Center, PO Box 678, Manzanita, OR 97130.

Please register early. Many of our workshop leaders come to Manzanita expressly to offer these opportunities and it’s important to know the level of interest in order to ensure the workshop will take place.

Visual Arts Workshops

APRIL OIL PAINTING:  Thursdays, April 7, 14, 21, 28, 2016: Oil Painting, Karen Gale, 4 sessions from 10AM to 1PM, $165 tuition, plus $20 for supplies if the student does not have their own (MATERIALS FEE TO BE PAID TO TEACHER ON FIRST SESSION).

February 3, 10, 17, 2016, Wednesdays: Living the Sketchy Life, Renee L. Delight, 10 am to noon, $60 tuition, plus $12 (optional) materials fee, paid directly to the instructor.

March 2, 9, 16, 23 2016, Wednesdays: Watercolor Class, Doreen Lindstedt, 12:30 – 4:00 pm, $100

February 27: Broken dishes and Found Objects Mosaic, Jane Perrigo, 10am – 3pm, $45 tuition plus $15 materials fee (paid directly to the instructor at the class).

March 12: Creating in the Green-Mixed Media, Carole Murphy, 10am – 5pm, $55 tuition plus $20 materials fee (paid directly to instructor at the class). CANCELLED.
